CRUMP
Whichever option you choose there is no cost to you, the donor.
All we ask is that you place the donated phones into a box (or strong envelope) with enough padding to prevent damage during transit before sending them to us.
If you become a regular donor we will provide occasional updates on the value of your donations and give you any help we can in promoting the scheme.
Phones with batteries and chargers are most valuable to us. Donated phones are sold on to be recycled or reconditioned - helps reduce waste.
What your donations can achieve:
-
1 phone is usually enough to pay for a surgical cannula to treat a sick child
-
35 phones can train a Ugandan children's health worker in essential life-saving techniques
-
300 phones can provide 2 TV sets to entertain children in hospital in Bosnia
-
3000 phones can provide resuscitation equipment and save children's lives
Special boxes to collect mobile phones and inkjets are available on request using the above telephone number.
PLEASE NOTE : THE COLLECTION SCHEME ONLY OPERATES IN THE UK
